Visual Studio Report Designer: Using External Image

Add a table > Link table to a datasource
> Put an image in a cell.
> Image > Properties >
    > “Select the Image Source” to “External”
    > “Use this image” > set to a data source field
> Your Form > Report Viewer > Local Report >Enable External Images > “True”

but beware of “Percent-encoding” special characters, which include # and others

so ABC#123.jpg will become ABC%23123.jpg

Yes, you can restore  .rdl file  from Report Manger. View your report, Click on Properties now click on Edit, This would create report defination file and would provide it for download. You can create a new report project  and add this report to your report project.

Later on could try having a virtual server with a Server os on it and then add reporting services
In the meantime I have succeeded in most of my other TFS, specifically will now have ability to use Source Code Control to allow me to work on laptop or XP machine. Also Work Item management !!
